Ann is a native San Antonian.  After graduating from The University of Texas, Ann practiced in public accounting.  She has been recognized as an industry leader since she entered the staffing industry in 1988 and has received numerous awards for outstanding performance as an Executive Recruiter and Industry Leader nationally.  Ann was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame by the National Association of Personnel Services for her leadership, innovation and contributions to the staffing industry.  In 2014 Ann received the prestigious National Ethics Award in appreciation for her efforts to upgrade the image and practices of the Staffing Industry.  She is the Founder and CEO of Deacon Recruiting, Inc., Deacon Professional Services, LLP and Deacon Real.  Deacon continues to grow and is the largest Executive Search firm in San Antonio and one of the largest privately held search firms regionally.
